Our Story
Albury Engineering and Mower Service was founded by the late William (Bill) Quinlivan in 1964. With his wife Golda by his side he set up in the shop's current location on Borella Road Albury, wanting to provide a one stop shop for quality mowers, chainsaws and small engines. Focused
on providing outstanding customer service at competitive prices, the business continues to thrive and grow some 60 years on. William's son Dean Quinlivan joined the business after getting his mechanics qualification and some industry experience. Working alongside each
other for many years, Dean took the reins from his father and is now the director at Albury Engineering and Mower Service.
Albury Engineering & Mower Service have extensive knowledge of all things with motors. He is hands on and truly understands what is important when selecting and using small engine equipment. Always happy to offer advice and provide a demonstration Dean is known for his problem solving and inventive ideas to cater to any challenge thrown at him.
Dean is supported by a great team of highly trained and friendly staff to ensure they continue to provide the border region with a reliable and professional service. As well as a very knowledgeable sales department to help with new products and spare parts, there is a busy Service Centre which employs 3 mechanics and some highly efficient office staff to keep
everyone in line. Rounding out the crew you will see Willam's wife (Dean's mum)Golda helping out still on occasion as well as Dean's wife Kylie.
